The Oxnard Channel Islands Harbor Taskforce committee held a special meeting on February 22, 2018 at the Oxnard Performing Art Center. Mayor Tim Flynn and Councilman Bert Perello serve on the committee. The purpose of the meeting was to receive a presentation on the Special Planning Charrette Summary Results regarding the future of Fisherman’s Wharf. Several representatives of concerned organizations that participated in the charrette gave commentary opposing a proposed development project as planned in the area and offered alternative modifications during the presentation. Members of the public were also given the opportunity to comment.
